Position: - OWB Specialist (Architect)
Experience: - 7-11 Years
Location: - Gurgaon
Position Details
Key Responsibilities:
• Drives solution conceptualization and development
• Utilizes their deep understanding of BI/DW design principles in creating custom software solutions or implementing package solutions
• Challenges technical design for the given business problem when appropriate
• Works with delivery teams to improve their architecture and tool knowledge
• Establishes technical frameworks and approach for solution development
• Mentors the team members
• Helps resolve complex technical issues
• Shares best practices and lessons learnt across multiple teams
• Independently leads the estimation effort for the BI/DW pieces of an engagement
• Reviews estimates and identify gaps
Job Requirements:
• Knowledge of multiple ETL, OLAP and Reporting tools (including but not limited to): Informatica, IBM DataStage, Oracle Warehouse Builder, Oracle BI Suites, Microsoft BI Suite, Business Objects, Cognos, Microstrategy etc.
• Knowledge of databases and their features commonly used for BI/DW
• Strong data modeling skills including dimensional modeling
• Experience in creating logical/physical architectures
• Knowledge of different types of environments (development, staging, testing and production etc) and usage of those environments in the various stages of application development lifecycle
• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies is desirable
