Able to set strategy for project testing plan and system level integration including risk assessment, and to build / establish Independent Software Testing Practice Organization wide.

· Possesses complete knowledge on implementation of test plans for manual and automated testing for web, or system based complex applications, and networks as well as test planning, test concepts, tools and problem reporting techniques.

· Ensures documentation / maintenance of - content and structure of all Testing documents / artifacts, and also documents, implements, monitors, and enforces all processes and procedures for testing as per standards defined by the organization.

· Contributes to continuous improvement of Testing standards, process, procedure and methodology across all test areas.

· The person should have extensive experience in all line, performance and people management areas.

· Own the complete accountability of delivering projects/services on time & achieve the budgeted profitability for each project team.

· Project Management background with experience on mission critical enterprise level applications, leading / managing either directly or in a matrixed structure of over 25 people.

· A creative approach to problem-solving and project management in general.

· Exceptional people handling skills, including, conflict resolution, team motivation, and people development.

· A proven ability to inspire and pull together the talents of multidisciplinary teams.

· Appreciates teamwork, and have proven track record in leading a team to achieve the targeted objectives of the Unit.

· Able to work well in a fast-paced changing environment. Is capable of managing crises and working under pressure when required; keeping team motivated and focused on team goals.

· Client management skills, including, account management, account farming and building deep relationships.

· Responsible for CMM Level 5i, and SDLC (from requirement gathering to deployment) concepts and exposure to quality processes.

· As member of the Delivery team, he should be involved in helping & developing a strategic plan for the company & be jointly responsible for overall health

AP & also good understanding of Soft-switch architectures

· Experience in planning and budgeting actuals and projections for the Delivery Unit and manage against the same.

* Can support sales team in terms of defining service offerings and helping identify business opportunities
