• Extensive experience in installing, upgrading, and maintaining backup and archival environment
• Working knowledge of UNIX and windows operating systems.
• Good understanding of EMC disk and replication technologies on both Symmetrix and CLARiiON - BCVs, snaps, consistent split, RAID, etc. OR equivalent products from HP and IBM
• Working experience installing, configuring, and using EMC\'s Replication Manager (serverand client), versions 4 and 5.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Good customer service and communication (oral and written) skills. Ability to deliver professional engagement documentation.
Profile:
- Should be well versed with backup and archival technologies
- Should be well versed with backup and archival solution from EMC, Symantec, HP, IBM etc ..
- Sound knowledge on trouble shooting backup issues
- Must have had hand-on experience on at least two vendor products on backup and archival ( EMC and Netback up)
- Should SAN and NAS technologies
