To understand and fully support design, engineering standards of the group. Ensure enterprise standards are adhered to by team.
To create an environment that encourages process and efficiency improvement.
Provide technical leadership in order to aid in the production of system designs and architecture leading to a system that is scalable, robust and flexible.
Provide technical leadership of the system by taking end-to-end ownership of all technical aspects, including implementing best practices, inputs to project planning and proactively improving system scalability, robustness, performance and flexibility.
Interaction with technology lines of different business groups (Operations, Middle Office, Front Office, Risk, and Finance etc.) and with other IT teams as appropriate.
Identify and communicate to development manager risk and issues that could impact delivery
Coordination of development and application delivery activities from design through to implementation.
Contribute effectively to projects by preparing and getting agreement on designs and architecture, leading code reviews and participating in software development.
